Hi dollies!

You’ve seen the latest and cutest release of Nelly in Starplaza, right? Those clothes are right on point, especially when you look at the stripe hype that’s been emerging recently. Today’s Celebrity to Stardoll post is all about which items to buy to keep up with this new trend and maybe you’ll even grab a few things for yourself!

I’ve included a heap of difference items from Starplaza in the graphic, ranging in price to suit any doll’s budget and style. There are loads more items to choose from so don’t limit yourself to the ones included on the graphic – get creative! Pair a stripy top with a monochrome pair of jeans like Miranda Kerr or a cute pair of denim shorts like Lily Aldridge. Or if you’re feeling extra adventurous do like Beyoncé and pair a stripy skirt and top together.

Not only has this trend taken over Stardoll and Hollywood, the look is also available on loads of online shopping sites. The pictures on the right of the graphic can be found at the following sites…
Enjoyed today’s post? Do you want to see more items you can buy in real-life? Have a suggestion for future posts? Leave me a comment below 🙂 You can also find me on Stardoll as blossumbabe and on Google+ as Blossumbabe SD.
(Need a new Google+ profile picture or a graphic for your website? Until the 3rd of October I’ll be taking your orders and creating graphics for you! Leave me a comment here or in my guestbook if you’re interested 🙂

Have a great day

Celebrity to Stardoll: Makeup edition

Guest blogger: blossumbabe

Hey dolls,
This week Celebrity to Stardoll features actress Nicola Peltz, who you might recognise from Transformers 4, Avatar: The Last Airbender actress Nicola Peltz…and its a makeup edition! As we’re in the voting stage of MSW a lot of dolls are putting their best outfit forward. But don’t forget to be sure that your makeup is on point too!
Nicola Peltz’s look is sweet ‘n’ simple. The pinks give it a girly touch and because basic colours, that can suit anybody are used, its easy to have this as the starting point for your new MSW look. Don’t worry, everything from hair to nails is included in the graphic. Even though most, if not all of the items in the Beauty tab of Starplaza are worth stardollars, makeup for your doll is definitely a must have when competing for MSW. Good luck to everyone competing.
If you liked this issue of Celebrity to Stardoll or you have a suggestion for my next post let me know in the comments below. You can also add me on Stardoll (blossumbabe) and follow me on Google plus.
Have a wonderful day

Celebrity to Stardoll: Beyoncé

Hi dolls,
A few weeks ago I had a request from an anonymous source to create a Beyoncé outfit, so this week, here she is the superstar we all know and love!
Beyoncé’s sense of fashion is unlike any other celebrity’s and its no secret, she can pull anything off. Today’s outfit is a dressy-casual look that is quite close to the original one worn by the music sensation. The mixed prints work in perfect collaboration with each other and the statement piece necklace ties the whole outfit together. Unfortunately, all the items depicted are worth stardollars. Nonetheless, there are heaps of items in Starplaza you can substitute these for to get this Beyoncé-inspired look.
If you liked this post or have a request for a celebrity outfit you want to see in next week’s Celebrity to Stardoll post let me know in the comments.

Hello lovelies,
This week I decided to go for a celebrity outfit that is trendy yet simple – something that anyone can dress up or down and put their own spin on. Victoria’s Secret model Candice Swanepoel’s look will serve as the inspiration for today’s post.
Jeans (and denim in general) are a great starting point for any outfit, especially since they come in so many different colours and prices at Starplaza. A solid white top always looks crisp and fresh, and having a crop top gives the whole look a summery feel. Your shoes can be anything from comfortable flats (as depicted) or skyscraper heels. Add a stylish tote and a pair of sunnies, let your hair down for an easy-going look and you’re ready to paint the town red!

Hey dolls,
Last week I got a lot of requests from you guys saying you wanted to see a particular celebrity in this week’s post. So, here by popular demand – Iggy Azalea! We all know how fabulous and ‘fancy’ Iggy is, but her style is so unique that its quite difficult to encapsulate. However, after some avid research and a conveniently coincidental new release from Riviera, I found the three perfect looks for any doll on any budget this summer! But remember, this is just a starting point for an outfit; there are loads of items available in Starplaza for you to choose from, so don’t limit your style 🙂
Let me know what you think of the items and outfits from the graphic and if you have a celebrity outfit you want to see in an upcoming post, leave me a comment below.
See you all next week

Celebrity to Stardoll 19

Hey dolls,
First of all, thanks to everyone for your feedback and comments – I love hearing your ideas and definitely take them on board. Today’s post features Zendaya Coleman, a suggestion from Truecutesygirl, and includes far more starcoin items than last week’s Celebrity to Stardoll issue.
Zendaya knows how to rock the trendy tomboy look. To get her style you’ll need a graphic tee and pants or shorts. Don’t be afraid to go crazy with heaps of bracelets a cute pair of kicks. Then finish your outfit with a touch of lipstick and you’re ready to rock it like Zendaya!

Hi there dollies,

I’m blossumbabe, The Official Stardoll Blog’s newest writer, and I’m so excited to get started! Each week I’ll be creating an outfit based on a celebrity’s look that you can create for your doll in Starplaza.

July 4th is just around the corner so it’s time to stock up your wardrobe with all things stars and stripes, just like Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey and Katy Perry! I’ve incorporated a few of my favourite Fourth of July inspired garments in the image but there are so many more in Starplaza you’ll be seeing stars (literally). While you’re in the holiday mood treat yourself to some nail polish and festive jewellery to finish your look. Decorate your suite with the Small World USA flag for 20 starcoins, and add some blue ornaments to your red furniture.

Can you guess the lyrics to the six patriotic pop songs around the border? If you do tell me the song title and artist for a shout out in next week’s issue when the answers are revealed!

What are your thoughts on this week’s post? Let me know in the comments, and if you have a suggestion or a celebrity’s outfit you want to see in the next Celebirty to Stardoll issue all you have to do is leave me a comment with a link to the picture.
