We at the Official Stardoll Blog are pretty nosey by nature, so accumulating secret details about the upcoming Miss Stardoll World 2010 contest was no problemo! So via a source of whispers and candy bribes, here’s what we know so far…
- (update) For the first MSW it will be 18 countries, but if the event proves to be popular it will most definitely extend to even more countries in 2011.
- Stardolls from any of the following countries will be able to compete. USA, UK, Poland, Ireland, France, Australia, Sweden, Italy, Germany, Brazil, Netherlands, Turkey, Portugal, Finland, Russia, Spain, Greece, Saudi Arabia. But there will also be a rest of the world Wildcard contest, closer to the final.
- 18 Stardolls from each of these countries will be hand-picked for the local finals to be held in October. We hear our judges are scouting for finalists already, so make sure your Suite is sweet and your MeDoll is dolled-up!
- (update) 1 winner from each country (joined by rest of the world Wildcards) will go through to the Miss Stardoll World Final at the end of the year.
- (update) A free 1 Year Superstar Membership will go to the overall winner, plus tons of SDs and glamorous outfits. Oh, and of course a majestic crown and sash! There will also be prizes for country finalists, country winners and grand finalists.

so i can think of czech republic, canada, mexico, japan, argentina, egypt and tons of other countries that cant enter (i chose just some to have all continents included)
To be fair not all countries participate in the real miss world contest only countries that make it to that stage. Also for everything in life schools, jobs, competitions etc. there is always a short list or waiting list.
Even though I never support any form of beauty competition as this is just a game site between dolls I’m a little bit interested.

This is so unfair… I am from Israel, and to be honest, sometimes it seems like you don’t even care about us! I love your website very much and I use it as much as I can, but seriously… I think that this competition is not fair and cuold never be called “Miss stardoll world” sinse all of the world don’t participate. Where I come from don’t make me be less then who I am so I really hope you will find a way to make this better for all of the stardolls here that don’t anything. No, it is COMPLETELY fair. Stardoll has 70 million members, and they can’t handpick someone from EACH country. The countries chosen are a way to narrow it down. And plus, they probably only have a few offices so each office chooses one. (And the offices are in the chosen countries.)

Yea I think it’s 18 from each country, so 324 total. And then the 18 compete within their country until there is 1 from each country and they all compete against each other till there is a winner.

When I first read about this I was flying with Joy! But then .. I read that umm .. Only 1 Arabic (Asian too) country is included and no African countries too .. Basically, Shame on you Stardoll because I’ve payed for superstar membership for more than 2 years & had been active! & then Countries like CANADA, QATAR, BAHRAIN, LATVIA, BRAZIL are not included ?!! You can’t call it a world competition if not all countries are allowed to participate. Why on earth wouldn’t countries like Denmark and Norway be allowed? I do know that Stardoll is swedish, and thats the reason why Sweden is allowed, but wtf? That is the weirdest shit I’ve ever heard, why would you refuse a huge part of your members not to enter? I realize it’s probably because of the numbers of members from each country, but COME ON. Thats ridiculous.

I`m from Slovenia and I can`t enter. I don`t get it also, that you must be an active member but in the same time, have at least 200 starpoints, it just doesn`t go together, in my opinion, you`re not really active with 200 starpoints. And you have to have a club??? The basic idea of a Miss Stardoll World is good, but the conditions of competition are NOT!

umm, no offence who ever chose the top 18 (or something?) but, theyre all basically the same. not as each other, but as styles. like, none of them has anything different about them, do they? thats y im kinda disappointed with the ones chosen.
It is really annoying that people don’t bother to read, the wild cards cater for those people’s whose countries aren’t included. Stop complaining, you could always switch your country on stardoll to one that is included. It is not difficult and you probably won’t make it anyway.

I’ve been an active member since 2009, and i’m from Canada. Why is the US picked and not Canada? We’re bigger than them, and we have tons of girls just like me that go on stardoll EVERYDAY. They spend HOURS on their suites and medolls. How come stardoll doesn’t recognize this? People work hard to try and get recognized and actually win SOMETHING on stardoll. But it all leads back to the royalties and the superstars, because apparently, when you’re not in the higher standard. Stardoll doesn’t care about you anymore! See how many complaints have already come? Stardoll should actually care for ALL the countries. I hope Miss Stardoll World 2011 will be better because i’m pretty sure the stardoll staff couldn’t ignore all these complaints.
