Lolita, I don’t want to say you’re ungrateful. But I do think you have something mixed up! Because Stardoll really isn’t about being what you want it to be because you pay for it. You should only pay if you like Stardoll, Stardoll shouldn’t change itself because you are paying. That’s just not the way it works! That is simply impossible because if they were trying to live up to all the wishes of all members, they’d have to make 50 milion different versions of the website – because everybody has their own ideas of how it should function and what it should look like.
Example: Say that you are a big company that needs a commercial for your brand, to make people buy your product. You’ll have to hire a company to make those commercials for you. You hire them, so they have to collaborate with you. They will have to make a commerical according to your wishes, maybe give advice, but eventually satisfy you because you are paying them.
You didn’t hire stardoll to make a site for you according to your wishes. Stardoll is a site created by people that eventually needed money to keep the site going and growing. It costs money to have a website up in the air, it costs money to hire people to design the graphics, it costs money to get a team for technical stuff like HTML/flash and that kind of stuff. They don’t owe you anything, because you paid.
It comes down to, they are what they are and they do what they do. You can love it, hate it, hate to love it and love to hate it.. But it’s really a take-it-or-leave-it-situation. You are not in the position to claim that they should change their website ‘because you’re paying for it’. That’s simply not the way it works. Things change, if you don’t like the makeover, don’t pay! Or even leave.

I agree, comments are to say what we think. I never said you can’t comment what you think. I just replied saying what I think about what you think.
That’s just the internet: you get the chance to voice your opinion, but if you do, don’t expect everyone will swallow it like sugar sweet candy. That’s life anyways, people will always have something to say, even if you don’t ask for it.
So it is quite easy indeed, if you don’t like what people reply to your comment, don’t read the replies, or simply don’t comment anymore. Your choice.

I agree with lolita here stardoll made a promise to members both ss & non-ss & has decided to change so many things at once. If stardoll promised ss members 33 best friends why change it? You can’t blame her, stardoll is at fault here. Stardoll needs loyal members who can speak out when they are unhappy not those who don’t really care about the site. The changes were just too much.

This message is not about the sale, but another suggestion/feedback. (My last request got fixed, thanks for that!)
On the old Stardoll it most of the times happened that if you saved a scenery he wouldn’t save it right. Things would move, like clothes. So if you check your new scenery after being saved, you have clothes hanging off your MeDoll.. This is really annoying! It stopped me from making scenerys because I like to spend a lot of time on those.. I don’t want to look back at it and see a mess!
I was kinda hoping this issue would’ve be fixed now, with this makeover, but it isn’t. Could this be fixed?
When is our dolls going to get fake nails? We want fake nails! and fake eyelashes (New ones, some who actually fits our eyes…)
There’s no point in fake nails, you can barely see our original ones.
Of course its a point in fake nails, LONGER nails, so we do see them! Got it? with different colours and such!!
We should have a special present or something in our birthday. Almost every website do that! At least a message saying “happy birthday!”!!

pretiest_prepp, maybe it’s only with you or maybe with a few members more, ’cause it’s not happening to me or any of my friends. my stardoll is pretty normal, everything is loading perfectly, i asked my friends to see if there’s really a problem and it’s all right with them too. so maybe you should just contact stardoll staff and tell about your account’s problems, or just wait a lil while till everything stabilize.
oh and i doubt they will contact you or any other people who writes here. we’re too much, so it gets kinda hard for them to answwer everyone. i’m sure they’ll just read the comments, including yours, and fix the features we’re having problems with.

Hi, I just came back frm my holidays and went to check my stardoll. However, when I went to log in it wouldn’t let me. Has anyone else been excperencing this?
You should make Stardoll easier for iDevices and Mobile Phones. It’s even trickier with the new makeover for us(iDevices etc) to navigate around stardoll. And with the new chat, it won’t even let me send! Could you possibly make a mobile site to make it easier?
